I'm a huge animal lover and believe everyone should be allowed to bring their furry kids with them on vacation, however due to prior inconsiderate guests with pets who have damaged the property and unable to pick up after their animals, I am now forced to charge a pet fee of $30 (dogs only). Be advised this property is not fenced in. If you wish to leave your pets outside, they will need to be properly secured. Also being up in the Mountains, there are natures insects and animals in the area so stay alert. At busy times the traffic in the vicinity can get pretty hectic. You can't beat the beautiful views of the lake while watching the Eagles, ducks, swans, herrings and other wildlife in the area. The lake is stocked with fish and you might even spot the beaver that lives in the lower lake. The spill way (or dam) connects you to the other side of the lake for great walks into the forest campground. The 3rd bedroom has a queen bed and a futon. The 4th bedroom is a 600 foot bunkroom with kitchen, bathroom, and laundry. It features two sets of queen/twin bunk beds which can sleep 6, a 50 inch television with cable tv and a couch. This is a great place for an additional family or teenagers who may appreciate their own space. The living room has lots of seating with views of the lake from all around. Open the windows and retractable front screen door to provide fresh and cool mountain air. On rare occasion it can get in the 90's, so a portable AC is provided for your comfort. In the main room is a 40" flat screen TV, DVD player with Netflix access, high speed internet service, bar, electric heating fireplace and a dining table that seats 7 comfortably. DISH network is provided on all TV's. Though the kitchen area is small and lacks a full size oven, it does have everything else needed to prepare and serve meals for the whole family. Outside you will find a wrap around deck with propane BBQ, picnic table and outdoor seating. There is plenty of parking in front and room for your boat. The launch ramp and fishing dock is right around the corner! I am a huge animal lover and believe everyone should be allowed to bring their furry kids with them on vacation, however due to prior inconsiderate guests with pets who have damaged the property and unable to pick up after their animals, I am now forced to charge a pet fee of $30 (no cats allowed). Be advised this property is not fenced in. If you wish to leave your pets outside, they will need to be properly secured. Also being in the Mountains, there are natures insects and animals in the area so stay alert. At busy times the traffic in the vicinity can get pretty hectic.
